Estos últimos días he estado de paseo por un fondo de pantalla, y es que no se le puede decir de otra manera, porque he estado en uno de los rincones más espectaculares de este nuestro precioso planeta. Los apasionados de Bola de dragón (Dragon Ball Z) estarán artos de ver este tipo de paisajes representados en la serie. Pero es que además, no conozco oficina en la que algún ordenador no tenga una imagen de este sitio como fondo de su monitor. Os puedo asegurar que es realmente increible, y prometo colgar una galería de flikr para que podais ver las fotos, que aunque no son muy espectaculares, os garantizo que os darán ganas de visitarlo.
Guilin es una pequeña ciudad del sur de China, a penas 600.000 habitantes. Y está llena de montes con formas redondeadas y alargadas, recorrida por el río Lin que serpentea entre estos montes, está llena de rincones con un atractivo alucinante. Cada metro de este lugar tiene algo que ver. Su gente es muy afable, hasta el punto de llegar a ser un poco pesada, pero por lo menos es más amable que en el resto de ciudades que he conocido en China.
Os recommiendo que busqueis información en Google y vereis como será uno de vuestros destinos en las próximas vacaciones.

Aqui os presento un libro muuuuy interesante para los amantes del mundo de la tipografía, y que puede ser un peñazo para los que ni les va ni les viene. Se titula "Veintidós cosas que nunca debes hacer con las letras (que algunos tipógrafos nunca te dirán)" y "Veintidós consejos sobre tipografía (que algunos diseñadores jamás revelarán)" de Enric Jardí. Y es que tiene dos títulos porque el libro está dividido en dos partes.
Es realmente fácil de leer y entender, y una pequeña guía muy práctica de las que debemos tener siempre a man, puesto que resuelve un montón de dudas sobre tipografía y nos revela algunas cosas que puede que no supiéramos. Viene cargado de ejempls prácticos que facilitan el entendimiento y aprendizage de todo lo que explica. 101 páginas de buena información, muy recomendable. Editorial Actar.

Que el Che levanta pasiones y odios en más o menos igual medida, es algo sabido por todos; y que este libro no es ninguna novedad tambien. Pero resulta que me parece un libro excelente, aunque puedo decir que , en este caso, la película tambioen es genial. De todos modos, no puedo evitar reconocer que generalmente prefiero siempre leer el libro primero.
En este caso, para los que no lo conozcais, este libro es una historia de aventuras entre dos amigos que deciden cruzar Sudamérica en moto. Esto es la idea básica, pero lo bueno es que es el diario de una historia real contado por Ernesto Guevara, más tarde conocido como el Che. El libro relata un viaje por parages increibles, conociendo a gente no menos fascinante y revela un modo de descubrimiento personal que no hace más que desear repetir ese viaje, ya sea por los mismos parajes, como por los que vosotros deseis. Apasionante, me ha encantado.
Supongo que lo habrá en varias editoriales, pero el que pongo aqui es el mío y es de la editorial Ocean. El título exacto es "Notas de viaje, diario en motocicleta".
Si tienes espíritu aventurero este libro te lo estimulará, y si no, te lo despertará.

This is the basic idea, but the good thing is that it is the diary of a true history counted by Ernesto Guevara, later known as the Che. The book reports a trip for incredible landscapes, knowing not less fascinating people and reveals a way of personal discovery that does not do any more that to want to repeat this trip, already it is for the same places, since for that you wish. Exciting, I have been charmed with it.
I suppose that it will be in several publishing houses, but the one that I put here is mine and is of the publishing house Ocean. The exact title is " Notas de viaje, diario en motocicleta". If you have adventurous espirit this book it will stimulate you, and if not, it will wake it up you.

El evento para mi más esperado de todos los juegos ha sido la final de Baloncesto, en la que ya esperaba ansioso un enfrentamiento España vs USA. Qué emocionante!!!!
En mi opinión merecieron ganar más los españoles, pero bueno, en eso puede que muchos me lleven la contraria. El caso es que fue un partido precioso, memorable y en el que los españoles se las hicieron pasar canutas a los americanos. ENHORABUENA!!!!

Recopila ilustraciones de cualquier tendencia contemporanea y de los mejores artistas de nuestro tiempo. Os puedo ganrantizar que como inspiración es infalible, y que encontrareis cualquier estilo del que busqueis en sus 343 páginas y 445 Ilustraciones. Sólo la portada, a mi, ya me parece una pasada de buena. Entre sus colaboradores podeis encontrar a gente de la talla de Spencer Wilson, Eduardo Recife, Gary Taxali... Que lo disfruteis.

Intentaré cada semana recomendaros uno o dos libros que en mi opinión pueden resultaros muy interesantes. Las temáticas de estos libros serán de todo tipo, ya que un servidor no es muy selectivo a la hora de leer, sino que simplemente se deja llevar. Guiadiño que se dice en mi tierra.
Espero despertar vuestra curiosidad y que los que os decidais a adquirir alguno de esos libros me comenteis lo qeu os han parecido.
Hoy empezamos con un libro de esos de tener guardados por los siglos de los siglos, amen.
Se titula "Surf Skate & Rock Art of Jim Phillips", es de la editorial Schiffer, y os puedo garantizar que no es demasiado fácil de encontrar. Este libro recopila la vida de este maravilloso artista del mundo del Skate y Surf, con una infinidad de imágenes de sus creaciones. Más de uno de vosotros, que ya tengais pasados los 27 añitos, seguramente habeis tenido alguna tabla con sus diseños en la infancia, o entre las fotos de tias buenas de vuestras carpetas, seguro que alguna pegatina. Un libro lleno de recuerdos (para los de la época), pero también lleno de información sobre buena ilustración. Totalmente recomendado.
Por cierto, si alguno de vosotros tiene problemas para encontrarlo, me lo decis y os ayudaré encantado a conseguirlo.

Audi O is designed by Ondrej Jirec, a design student from the Czech Republic. This concept features the mother of all audio systems with internet connectivity for downloading music onto the built-in 650 GB hard drive, a Bluetooth system for connecting two or more Audi O cars together.
