VETUSTA MORLA

Tengo un amigo, que siempre que paso por mi casa me gusta verlo y me suele llevar en su coche, y siempre pone discos nuevos que me sorprenden y acaban formando parte de mi colección. Pues el que os traigo hoy seguro que es conocido por todos, pero bueno, me apetece nombrarlos aquí. Son españoles, se llaman Vetusta Morla, y su disco "Un día en el mundo" está pero que muy bien, además una de sus virtudes, a mi entender, es que el cantante hace de su voz un instrumento más.

I have a frien in my hometown, who I like to visit when i´m back, and allways we drive some time in his car, and in this moments he allways show me new bands what I like a lot and finish in my music collection. This band that I bring to you today is a Spanish band, they calls Vetusta Morla, and his album "Un día en el mundo" is really nice, apart of this, one of his virtues, is that the vocal make his voice one more instrument.

THE BOOMBOX

Audioslave es el grupo y nombre del disco que os traigo hoy. Ya que esta banda tiene otros, pero personalmente este es uno de los que más me gusta. Como dato os diré, para los que no lo sepais, que seguro que soys muy pococs, que el cantante de este grupo era el antiguo cantante de Temple of the Dog y despues de Soundgarden. Una de las mejores voces de la historia. Que lo disfruteis.

Audioslave is the band and the title of the album that I bring to you today. This band have another albums but this is one of the best for me. For the people who don´t know yet, but sure is a little, the voice of this band it was the voice of Temple of the dog and then the voice of Soundgarden, and one of the best voices in the music history. Enjoy it.

SEABEAR

El disco que traigo hoy es en plan tranquilo, musiquita agradable pero muy buena. El grupo se llama SEABEAR y el disco se titula "The ghost that carried us away". Son una banda de Indie-Folk que vienen de Reykiavik (Islandia), asi que los que conoceis grupos de esa zona, os podreis estar haciendo una idea del sonido. Seabear empezó siendo un proyecto en solitario de uno de sus componentes, pero finalmente acabaron uniéndose cinco componentes para crear algo tan bueno como esto.

The album that I bring you today is calm, pleasant and good music. The band is SEABEAR and the album "The ghost that carried us away".. They make Indie-Folk and come from Reykiavik (Island), so if you know some bands from there, you know perfectly the kind of music they play. Seabear in first time it was a solitary project of one of the components, but than it´s enjoied four more to create a good something like this.

MOTHER LOVE BONE

El grunjge está volviendo, y para conmemorar esa buena noticia hoy os traigo un disco que me ha marcado. Son "Mother Love Bone", y en su momento fue y ahora sigue siendo, un discazo. La banda está compuesta por algunos de los componentes de grupos tan emblematicos como "Pearl Jam" y "Soundgarden", que a su vez tambien salieron de "Temple of the dog", otra gran banda. Os lo recomiendo encarecidamente, seguro que os encanta.

Grunge is coming again, and to celebrate this great new today I bring you one album that marked me. They are "Mother Love Bone", and in his time was and now still being a great album. The band it´s composed of some of the components of bands so famous as "Pearl Jam" or "Soundgarden", all of them also come from other great band, it calls "Temple of the dog". I sugest you seriosly because I´m sure you will like a lot.

OKKERVIL RIVER

Hoy estrenamos sección. Ya tenemos la biblioteca, es decir, la parte literaria está cubierta, pues vamos a la musical no? que para algo somos amantes de lo bueno. Pues bien, se va a llamar BoomBox y la vamos a estrenar con un discazo, por lo menos para mi. El grupo se llama Okkervil River, son de New Hampshire y tienen un sonido muy Folk-Rock, os encantará seguro. El disco que os recomiendo se titula The Standins, y es genial para escuchar en el coche mientras viajas.

Today we start a new section. Already have the Library, so the literature it´s covered, so come on with the musical, because we like the good ones. The section name is BoomBox and we will start with a great album, at least for me. The band is Okkervil River, they are from New Hampshire and have a very Folk-Rock sound, you will like sure. The album that I sugest you here it cals The Standins, and it´s great to listen during a driving jurney.
